 Bali is a place of spirituality and magic that touch and change visitors.  Balinese

philosophy of Tri Hita Karana, translates as “three causes of well-being” It refers to

harmony among people, harmony with nature and the environment and harmony

with God.  These three principals guide many aspects of Balinese life from daily

rituals to Balinese architecture.   Rahasia Manis (Sweet Secret) is a property inspired

by a great love for Bali and an appreciation for all it has to offer through its natural beauty and the inherent craftsmanship and creativity of its people. Located near the village of Bayad, in a cooler, quieter location than most tourist spots, it is nestled between the rice fields and jungle.   Depending on your needs you will be staying in one of the cottages, houses, or single rooms made of teak wood from Java.  No two houses are the same, each has its own distinct character and charm, and all have wonderful views, some of the rice fields and others of the jungle and every morning you will wake up to the natural sounds of the environment of roosters, frogs and birds. 

   

Slow Down & Savor the delicious healing food

 

Mindful eating not only increases nutrient absorption, but also helps to understand when you’re truly full.  A Yoga retreat can present the optimal time for a food reset, as we are already focusing on tuning in to our bodies and asking what we really want. The retreat has it’s own permaculture vegetable gardens and many fruit trees providing delicious vegetarian food during your stay. Healthy food is better than medicine in healing our ill bodies and mind.  You will be nourished with three delicious buffet style meals of fruits, juices, soups, salads and other healthy grains and pulses, which are light and easy to digest giving enough physical and mental strength to support your twice daily Yoga practice and to immerse your body, mind, and soul into the therapeutic aspects of yoga.  Food for thought.  If food and thoughts are clear and pure it helps in making one’s life fulfilled with joy and removes all the barriers such as being unhealthy in life.        

Daily Yoga Classes That Energize Your Body & Mind.

 

Our Hatha classes will take you through a systematic journey throughout the retreat to help you connect to your inner Warrior. Tuesday morning you will wake up at sunrise and begin your morning rituals, which you will learn on the first day at the welcome brief before meeting in the Yoga hall for your very first retreat Yoga session with Sue or Luh who is a spiritual coach and Yoga teacher from Bali. This morning’s focus will be finding strength through our feet, as the feet are our foundation in life and Yoga. They keep us steady and strong. They keep our poses safe. They support us and will be important to keep them supple and strong to enjoy your time here in beautiful Bali, which is often called The Land of the Gods. Each day our Yoga Theme will change leaving you with more understanding of how Yoga works to support your life on and off the mat.  Each evening you will be guided through a gentle restorative Yin to unwind you into a whole new reality for the next 7 days. The Classes will be tailored to all individual needs and everyone is encouraged to progress at their own pace. Our Sunrise Session each morning will energise you for the day, while the late afternoon Sunset Session will help you unwind with more gentle and nourishing postures that focus on healing & letting go.These empowering sessions focus on giving you the skills that you need to confidently practice on your own with confidence when you return home.

Each afternoon Sue will take you through heart-to-heart sessions, you will receive next-level personal growth tools, learn about the yogic lifestyle, receive guidance for your personal practice and discover ways to implement healthy & balanced routines into your daily life.

 

We will also introduce and demystify some of the secret practices of Yoga

that truly transform lives: Yoga Nidra, working with Chakras, Ayurveda,

the power of vibration and sound healing and discuss Yogic Philosophy. 

 

We address topics like healthy diet & eating patterns, daily rituals that

promote inner peace, communication patterns that foster love and understanding,

and psychological attitudes that nurture self-healing.

Dave and Sue are looking forward to hosting 8 Limb Yoga retreat.   We come back year after year to this beautiful Island and spend time in nature enjoying the deserted waterfalls, organic food and the beautiful Balinese people.  

 

Once you get out of the busyness of the Southern beaches and head North to Ubud you will experience its natural beauty.

Flights are available on Qantas, Jetstar and Virgin leaving from Brisbane and Jetstar leaves from Townsville direct. Once you have signed up for the retreat you will be sent a Whats Next Pack.

A $500 payment is required to secure your booking, please note this is non-refundable. Balance to be paid by 1st July 2018. If you are only paying the deposit the balance will need to be paid at the studio
