It takes a lot of courage to try something new. It takes even more when you've tried something before and you struggled and you go and try it again. Before venturing out into group classes you should understand the foundations of the practice, such as breathing, sun salutations, standing, seated and basic back bends, this is why 8 Limb has introduced a beginners course to our schedule.
In order to fully integrate yoga into your life and to feel a genuine difference; yoga really needs to be practiced regularly. i.e more than twice a week. For this reason, the course will take place over 2 weeks on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:45pm - 7.00pm (A total of 4 x 1.15 hr sessions).
This is your chance to join other budding newbies, and start your journey to better flexibility and strength. By the time you have completed the course you will have complete confidence to attend our regular group classes.
Each session will have a special focus on the below-listed topics. Your teacher will offer appropriate variations depending on your mobility and strength , as well as accommodating any injuries or issues you may be having within the practice.

If so, join our 2 hr workshop that takes you through Muscle tension release by incorporating the Myofascial muscle tension release (MFR) techniques.
MFR uses specific massage balls to release tightness from aching muscles. This technique improves blood and lymphatic circulation and stimulates and relaxes deep tissues resulting in increased muscle flexibility and mobility.
